- Changed bootloader solderpads to a press button
- Changed USB Port type
Flyduino felt the need for a modern more simplified 32bit Flightcontroller, so they went and made the KISS FC. This FC includes its own Flight Control Firmware in order to get rid of some of the old ballast, the result is very impressive.
The Idea was to simplify the controller as best as possible. Due to intensive long term testings from some of the worlds top pilots, Flyduino was able to optimize the code to a point where you virtually need very little tuning get your quad in the air quick and stable. In most cases, you only need to choose your Airframe in the GUI and are able to fly, You can also download presets for a given configurations and tweak the PID's yourself in the GUI. All you should need are very little solid soldering skills and you should be all set to go.
A new feature is also the inbuild telemetry, in combination with our 32bit ESC line its possible to show the live telemetry data via OSD on your FPV live feed or in the KISS FC GUI. This way you get useful informations like the Voltage of your battery, current consumption, ESC temperature and motor RPM.
Other FC firmwares (eg. Cleanflight) can be ported for the use with the KISS FC.
